The Hotel Saugatuck, one of Michigan’s Historical Landmarks, is the ultimate romantic getaway on Michigan’s Art Coast. Located at the gateway of Saugatuck’s Historic District, reminiscent of vintage, small-town America, the hotel is just a short walk to downtown and Douglas, where you will find many unique shops, art galleries, and fine-dining establishments.
The newly redesigned luxury 18-room bed & breakfast offers the ultimate in guest service, modern comfort, and amenities unlike any property in the area, along with gourmet breakfast and tempting desserts delivered to your room. Whether you come to enjoy the year-round activities and exciting events, or just relax in an environment where there are no demands while taking in the breathtaking views of Kalamazoo Lake, the Hotel Saugatuck promises an unforgettable experience.
Built in 1865, The Hotel Saugatuck, formerly the Twin Gables Inn, is the only original mill in the area still standing from the busy lumbering era. A Michigan Historic Landmark, it is rich in history having undergone several changes and functions, always being an integral part of the evolvement of the Saugatuck Community. The historic landmark was purchased by two brothers, Tim and Al Heminger, with the vision to bring the hotel back to life as Saugatuck’s premier boutique hotel and luxury bed & breakfast. Al is no stranger to hospitality. He and his wife, Karrie, are the owners of the Huron House Luxury Bed & Breakfast in Oscoda, Michigan.
The Hotel Saugatuck is located at 900 Lake St., Saugatuck, MI 49453. For more information or to make reservations, please call (269) 416-0731 or visit https://www.thehotelsaugatuck.com/
