EXPLORE MINNESOTA!
Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd U.S. state on May 11, 1858, and is known by the slogan the “Land of 10,000 Lakes.” It is the second most northern State in the contiguous US, with Alaska being the most northern. The state is in the Great Lakes Region and is home to some of the earth’s oldest rocks.

Minnesota has 6 National Park Units, as well as state parks, wildlife refuges and state historic sites.

“Minnesota, hail to thee! Hail to thee, our state so dear, Thy light shall ever be, A beacon bright and clear. Thy son and daughters true, Will proclaim thee near and far, They shall guard thy fame and adore thy name; Thou shalt be their Northern Star.” Truman Rickard
