Texas has 2 National Parks: Big Bend National Park, and Guadalupe Mountains National Park, and 3 National Historic Parks, Lyndon B Johnson National Historical Park, Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park and San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
Other National Park Units include 2 National Monuments, Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument and Waco Mammoth National Monument; 2 National Recreation Areas, Amistad National Recreation Area and Lake Meredith National Recreation Area. There is 1 National Preserve, Big Thicket National Preserve, 1 National Memorial, Chamizal National Memorial and 1 National Historic Site, Fort Davis National Historic Site. Texas is also part of 2 National Historic Trails, the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail and the El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro National Historic Trail. It has one National Seashore, the Padre Island National Seashore and 1 Wild & Scenic River, the Rio Grande Wild & Scenic River.
