Nicknamed the Beaver State, Oregon is home to 10 National Park units including: California National Historic Trail, Crater Lake National Park, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, Ice Age Floods National Geologic Trail, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, Nez Perce National Historical Park, Oregon National Historic Trail, and Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve.
Oregon also has 195 State Parks, 13 National Forests, 21 National Wildlife Refuges, 59 Wild & Scenic Rivers, 2,034 Places listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 17 National Historic Landmarks, and 11 National Natural Landmarks.
