Indiana is home to 3 National Park Units, the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park and the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.
There are  27 State Parks and 15 State Forests, 6 State Memorials, 1 State Fishing Area, 1 State Nature Preserve, 11 State Wildlife Areas, 1 National Forest and 1 National Wildlife Refuge. There are approximately 1800 places listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 42 National Historic Landmarks, and 30 National Natural Landmarks.
