Oct. 8: 21st Annual Tribute of the Muses – Presented by the City of Yuma’s Division of Arts and Culture, this annual event celebrates and recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Yuma’s arts community. The coveted Tribute of the Muses award is a distinguished legacy award that honors an individual or couple who have shown exemplary devotion and excellence in the arts. The Helios Award recognizes an up-and-coming voice in the arts.
Oct. 15-23: Yuma County Fair Fall Fest – Celebrate 60 years of the Yuma County Fair with great live music & entertainment, food, games, the demolition derby, carnival rides, and much more!
Nov. 19-21: Colorado River Crossing Hot Air Balloon Festival – Presented by the Caballeros de Yuma, the festival attracts some of the most colorful and unique balloons from the West and Southwest. Enjoy mass ascensions on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with the Colorado River and the Sonoran Desert as its backdrop. The highlight is the Desert Balloon Glow that takes place on Saturday night where tethered balloons with their burners firing at full blast, will glow brightly in the dark desert sky, with the entire pageant set to music.
