Horse trainer Christy Wood talks about her trail rides, clinics and events on Big Blend Radio.
Wood N Horse Training Stables is a full service stable offering trail rides in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada’s, in the town of Three Rivers, which is 6 miles to the entrance to Sequoia National Park. All horses used are experienced trail horses in the mountains.
Wood N Horse also offers instruction for beginner riders to advanced equestrians in English and western disciplines including jumping and trail obstacle work. Several clinics and horse camps are held throughout the year. The owner/instructor/trail guide is a World Champion trainer, Christy Wood, also exhibiting in jumping and trail, and her students are world champions who join her on the show team. She is a winner in extreme trail obstacle challenges as well. Christy is a carded horse show judge with 7 breed associations and is the author of “Your Best Horse Show: A Guide for Managers and Exhibitors”, and the children’s book, “Ranger: The Little Horse with a Big Heart.”
