Host to the Annual World Ag Expo, Tulare is an agricultural community and shopping destination that’s conveniently located near Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, as well as Sequoia National Forest and Giant Sequoia National Monument.
Tulare has a charming historic downtown district with lovely tree lined streets, murals, boutique shops, and restaurants. Showcasing the region’s Native American, pioneer and agricultural history, the Tulare Historical Museum is a fascinating place to visit. Housed in the International Agri-Center that’s home to the Tulare County Fairgrounds where the World Ag Expo is held, AgVentures Learning Center and the Antique Farm Equipment Museum are fun and educational attractions for the whole family. Home to the Tulare Outlet Center, Tulare is a regional shopping destination where shoppers can get good discounts on brand name products, enjoy a meal at one of the various restaurants, watch a movie at Galaxy Theatre, or attend the farmers market or an event. North ‘L’ Street is another great Tulare shopping and lunch destination.
