PIPE SPRING NATIONAL MONUMENT

Located in Northern Arizona, Pipe Spring National Monument protects the history of American Indians, early explorers, Mormon ranchers, along with plants and animals that depend on the water found at Pipe Spring. Visitors can soak up the history and culture of pioneer and Kaibab Paiute life by touring the Visitor Center and Museum, historic Winsor Castle and cabins, garden, orchard and corrals, the Ridge Trail, and also attend seasonal living history demonstrations and talks. The monument was established on May 31, 1923 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966.

Location & Local Communities:
Located in Mohave County, between Page and Colorado City, Pipe Spring National Monument is about 15 minutes from Fredonia, the main gateway community to the North Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. Pipe Spring NM is also about 20 miles from Kanab, Utah
