Ohio has 12 National Park Units. There is 1 National Park, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, 1 National Monument, the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument and 2 National Memorials, the David Berger National Memorial and the Perry’s Victory & International Peace National Memorial.
There is also 2 National Historical Parks, as well as 69 State Parks, 21 State Forests and 12 State Memorials; 1 National Forests, 4 National Wildlife Refuges, and 3 Wild & Scenic Rivers. In addition, there are approximately 3900 Places listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 76 National Historic Landmarks, and 23 National Natural Landmarks.
