Texas State Park Adventures is a children’s book series for readers age 7 and up. The series is writer by Jefferson Marshall, an author, teacher, and outdoor enthusiast living in Wolfforth, Texas. Illustrations are by Shawn Taylor, an illustrator, painter, teacher, and worship leader living in Pampa, Texas.
Book #1: THE CREATURES OF CAPROCK CANYONS – On a surprise camping trip, a group of kids search for a mystery animal lurking at Caprock Canyons State Park. They explore the trails and landmarks of the park and discover clues about the creature. It will take them working together to solve this mystery and protect the park!
Book #2: THE PALO DURO LIGHTOUSE RACE – On a field trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Colter Voss and his friends cross paths with wild creatures and interesting characters. Strap on your trail-running shoes and join the kids as they try their best to be the first to reach the famous Lighthouse!
