Blackbuck Lodge is a vacation rental home in a very small town in a very small county that is nevertheless somewhat world famous. This fully stocked self-service vacation rental home is situated in Bandera County just 15 minutes from the town of Bandera, Texas, which is beloved by locals and area tourists for its proud honorary title: The Cowboy Capital.

This ranch style house is situated right at the start of Ranch Road 337 which eventually becomes one of the “Three Sisters” – a 100 mile stretch of Hill Country Highway where Ranch Roads 335, 336, and 337 form a breathtaking scenic loop that is popular all over the world with motorcyclists and motor enthusiasts.

Because we heartily welcome bikers, we have tried to anticipate as many ways as possible to lighten the load on their two wheels. All they really need to bring from home is their clothing and a toothbrush.

We boast that we are “Bandera County’s Dog-Friendliest Vacation Rental Home”. There is no size or quantity limit on dogs: We won’t bully your breed. Extended stay pets enjoy a generous weekly discount on our very reasonable daily pet rates. Generally for your pet to stay here a whole week costs less than kenneling your dog with strangers for one day.  A large dog door opens to a fully enclosed off-leash area that is amply sized for exercising large breeds. For guests who want to leave the pets behind while they tour, there are two kennels enclosed with spacious 8′ pens to keep them safe and secure. Feel comfortable bringing the dogs because we know they will just love it here like our furry kids do. Don’t even worry about bringing a dog dish: Those are provided, too!

Guests get exclusive use of the whole house and grounds. The 2.5 acre yard is a wildlife lover’s paradise shared only with the large variety of native and exotic species who call it home.
